Our second game is ready: Spider Solitaire.
How it works
Spider uses two decks (104 cards) dealt into ten columns. Build runs from King down to Ace. When a run is complete and all one suit, it clears off the table. Clear all eight runs to win.
Any card can go on a card one rank higher. Only cards of the same suit move together as a group, though, so mixed runs get stuck. When you run out of moves, tap the stock to deal a new card onto every column. Every column needs at least one card before you can deal.
Pick your difficulty
| Suits | Difficulty | What it's like |
|---|---|---|
| 1 suit | Easy | All spades. Every run can move, so it's a good way to learn. |
| 2 suits | Medium | Spades and hearts. You have to start planning. |
| 4 suits | Hard | The full game. Many deals can't be won. |
Your choice is remembered, and wins are counted separately for each difficulty.
Same table, same tools
Unlimited undo, tap-to-move, deal numbers and the phone layout all work here just like in Solitaire. With ten columns the cards are small on a phone, so the compact card faces help most here.
