Just Play Cards is a collection of card games, a library you can open any time and just play. It starts with the classics everyone knows, and it's growing to take in newer and lesser-known games too.

The collection so far

  • Solitaire: The classic patience game, also called Klondike. Build each suit from Ace to King.
  • Spider Solitaire: Two decks, ten columns. Line up runs from King to Ace. Play with 1, 2 or 4 suits.
  • FreeCell: Every card dealt face up and four free cells to work with. Almost every deal can be won.
  • Pyramid: Clear a pyramid of 28 cards by pairing up any two that add up to 13. Kings go on their own.
  • TriPeaks: Clear three peaks of cards, playing any card one higher or lower than the last. Chain long runs.
  • Old Maid: You and two or three computer players draw from each other's hands. Pair up, and don't get stuck with the odd Queen.
  • Golf Solitaire: Seven columns, all face up. Play cards one higher or lower onto the waste, and score it like golf: lower is better.

Coming next

  • Blackjack: Beat the dealer to 21.
  • Hearts: Duck the hearts and dodge the Queen of Spades.

New games are announced on the blog.

How every game is built

  • Rules you can read. Every game page explains how to play, right under the table.
  • A strategy guide. Each game has its own guide for when you want to win more often.
  • Deal numbers. Every shuffle has a number, so you can replay a deal or share it with a friend.
  • The same plain table. Green felt, a fair shuffle and unlimited undo, in every game.
