Old Maid went live two days ago. You draw blind, so there's no way to be sure you'll avoid the odd Queen. But a little attention tells you a lot about where it is. Our new Old Maid strategy guide shows what to watch for.

Four things to remember
- Count the Queens. Once a pair of Queens has gone down, the one Queen left is the Old Maid.
- Remember who took it. If a computer player draws a Queen from you, you know where the Old Maid is, at least until someone takes it from them.
- Their hands get shuffled. The computer players shuffle after every draw, so where a card sits in their hand never gives it away.
- Small hands are safer. Every pair you make brings you closer to going out.
The guide also explains how 3 and 4 player games feel different.
Play a few rounds
Old Maid games are quick. Note the deal number of a game you lost and play it again: with the same seats and the same cards, see whether luck goes your way this time.
