Golf Solitaire went live two days ago. Every card is face up, so there's no luck in what you can see, only in the stock. Our new Golf Solitaire strategy guide shows how to use that.

Five things to remember
- Read the layout first. Find the buried Kings and the columns stacked with the same rank before you play.
- Plan the whole run. Runs go up and down, so count how far you can get before the first card.
- Spread your moves. Taking from all seven columns keeps more cards in reach.
- Mind the Kings. In the classic rules a King ends your run, so play it when the run would end anyway.
- Save the stock. It goes round once, so only turn a card when the table has no move left.
The guide also covers keeping a card in reserve and how to play for a low score when the table won't clear.
Play a round
Golf is traditionally played over nine deals. Note your cards left after each one and add them up. Then tap the deal number, play the same nine as a friend, and see who goes lower.
